The Painted Platter is an all-inclusive paint-your-own pottery and glass fusing studio located in Littleton Colorado.

Pottery

For the pottery we offer pre-fired bisque and you take it from there! With the help of our friendly staff, idea books and your imagination, you are on your way to creating a unique, one-of-a-kind masterpiece!
Our goal is to bring out the artist in you whether you are 3, 33, or 103. We have hundreds of items to choose from, so maybe you’d like a mug with your child’s footprint, a bowl for your cat or dog, a special cake plate for your wedding, or your own designed dinnerware - the sky is the limit!

We are an all-inclusive studio which includes the cost of the piece, use of paint and brushes (unless it is one of our specialty paints), accessories, glazing and firing, and your studio painting time.

You have the choice of creating with non-fired colors (non-food safe) or glazes that are fired to a non-toxic food safe finish.

When you're finished painting your masterpiece, you leave it with us and we will call you in 5-7 days to come and pick it up.

Glass Fusing

Creating with glass is so much fun and we are here to help you every step of the way.  No need to worry, the staff will teach you how to cut glass and explain the steps involved in putting together your project. Once you have made one masterpiece we know you’ll be back to make more.

We have several shapes and projects to choose from, some of your choices are plates, bowls, candle holders, vases, wall art, night lights, pendants, earrings and so many more.  Stop in and see all the possibilities or check out the gallery.

We are an all-inclusive studio for the glass which includes the cost of the sized piece you select, a decorative layer and an accent layer, along with the use of all our tools, studio time and firing your creation. Additional fees are added for specialty glass, add-ons and extra firings called "slumping".

Once you’ve finished your creation you will leave it with us for firing and we will call you in 7-10 days to come in and pick it up.

Heart Sun Catchers

Tuesday, February 7th
11am-1pm or 6pm-8pm
We will provide a 4" clear, red or white glass heart for you to decorate with colors and shapes that you desire. We will also have small glass decorations you can use to jazz up your final piece. After it is fired, we will add a bail so you can hang it in the window for
yourself or your valentine to admire.
The cost of this class is $20 + tax. Please RSVP, and at that time let us know the color of heart you would like.
